Matthew Mabie is President of Knoebel Construction. His role is to build client partnerships and drive the strategic direction of the firm in alignment with its core values. Through Matt's direction and vision since 2012, the firm has grown in revenue by more than five-fold and is now ranked among the largest general contractors and fastest growing firms in St. Louis. He has been named a Rising Retail Leader Under 40 by the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Joe brings nearly 15 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. During his time at Knoebel Joe has served in numerous capacities ranging from Superintendent, Project Manager, Director of Pre-Construction, and his current role as Vice President of Operations. Joe is responsible for implementing company-wide best practices and procedures, establishing benchmarks and key performance indicators, and cultivating cross-departmental efficiencies. In his role as Vice President of Operations, Joe oversees all activities across departments to increase productivity, client satisfaction and project results.

Jesse brings more than 13 years of commercial construction experience with expertise in field management. He is responsible for ensuring that all project teams produce high-quality work and deliver projects on-time and on-budget. As Director of Operations, Jesse advises, trains and oversees Knoebel’s project management and compliance teams. He also serves as the internal subcontractor advocate, managing workloads and holding project partners accountable for deliverables. Jesse was a Project Manager at Knoebel for four years before being promoted to Director of Operations in 2022.

Erica started with Knoebel in 2018 and was promoted to Controller in 2021. Erica is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting functions. She implements internal control policies and procedures for all financial activities and oversees all financial reporting. Erica is also responsible for all budgeting and maintaining a documented system of accounting procedures.
Denise brings over 18 years of Human Resource experience and works closely with all of the Knoebel team to create a positive, efficient work environment with an emphasis on fostering professional development and growth. To help Knoebel achieve its overall goals and objectives, she develops and administers strategic initiatives to increase team effectiveness and performance as well as increase employee engagement.
