Knoebel Construction president Matt Mabie has been named one of St. Louis’ Most Admired Business Leaders by St. Louis Small Business Monthly. The award honors St. Louis business owners who are unique and go above and beyond the normal expectations of a business.
Matthew Mabie purchased Knoebel Construction from the owner in 2009 during a recession with only one active project when the company was a $12 million firm, with nearly all its business concentrated in local restaurant construction projects. Under Mabie’s guidance, Knoebel has expanded and is projected to earn $106 million in revenue for 2021, with projects across the U.S. in retail, retail centers, restaurant, grocery and healthcare.
“We changed the way we related to our customers. Profits come when we become that true partner with our clients,” said Mabie.
